Here’s another pretty Lynn to celebrate. :D

This is one coat of Forget You Not over two coats of Revlon Royal. I was originally going to layer this over Essie Smooth Sailing, but the colors were too similar that I didn’t think it would look as good as this glitter truly was.

I like how one coat sprinkles enough glitter onto the nail (very similar to Boy-Girl Party, yes?). Check out that subtle shimmer! I didn’t realize it was there until I started taking photos. It’s beautiful!

This reminds me of the mani I did a while back of Lynnderella Bibbitty Bobbitty Boo Blue + Essie Borrowed & Blue; this is the inverse. Contrast in reverse, but same amount of contrast.

WTF cuticles. Way to look all dry even though you’re not. Thanks winter.

This is two coats of Lynnderella Lovey Dovey over two coats of Chanel Paradoxal. Yes, I used an expensive polish to layer. I am not ashamed! If it works, I will use it. :)

Someone mentioned this was the “inverse” of Mercurial, which I can see. Instead of a darker base with more gray than purple glitter, Lovey Dovey has a lighter base with more purple than gray glitter.

I can’t tell if Paradoxal was a good base for this. I mean, I wasn’t expecting the shimmer to poke through, and I knew it was dark enough to look good. It works well enough. I might just end up using a bright purple jelly when I wear this again.

You might have also noticed that there is some tipwear in my photos; you almost always never see it because I usually take photos right after my mani is done, but these were taken about two days after I put it on. Oopsie! :) I don’t know why my polish wears off the fastest on the left edges of my middle and ring fingers on my right hand. I’ve never noticed it on any of my fingers!

This is two coats of Mlle. Violette de Bleu over two coats of OPI Dating a Royal. I had the worst time figuring out what to layer this over. I eventually picked DaR because I figured the hue is pretty similar that it would look good. However, I failed to realize that when I finished, you can barely see the purple glitter! It bummed me out a little.

I also noticed that some of the blue glitter flashes a mermaid green, which is amazing and I wish my photos showed all the facets of the blue and purple. Next time, I will wear this over a purple like Sally Hansen Purple Pizzazz…a lot of my nail friends say it helps bring out the purple significantly. I would test this right now, but I am totally out of nail wheels. Time to make a quick trip to Sally’s. :P

You know what, though? This is still pretty and beautiful and glowy. It has a glowiness very similar to ChocoLotta Love. It’s such a rich blue color and there are so many cool things about it. I did spend quite a bit of time looking at my nails when I wore this, anyway.

Hi everyone! Tonight, I have something extra special from Lynnderella. When I received my package of the Lovely Is As Lovely Does collection, I noticed that she sent me an extra polish! It didn’t have a label on it; just a pretty heart taped to the front. I wore this on Valentine’s Day because I thought it was so fitting.

The name of this polish is apparently Liquid Valentine, but you can also call it ♥. Heart, I guess? Hee hee.

I decided to create a jelly sandwich using this polish. This is two coats of OPI Do You Think I’m Tex-y? under two coats of Liquid Valentine, under a final coat of DYTIT? (Do You Tit? Heehee. What an unfortunate abbreviation!)

There’s lots of pretty glitter in this one: red & purple hexes and squares, red & pink hearts, silver diamonds & squares. And the jelly has just enough pink that it’s not too hot pink or too dull of a pink that it dulls the glitter.

I love that the holo glitter shines through the jelly. It’s so adorable! I wish my photos showed the finer glitter a bit better.

There are heart-shaped pieces of glitter in this polish, but you can’t see any on my right hand because none of them came out. You can definitely see a few in the bottle, though, and they do come out to play! I was just unlucky this time. :P

I managed to get a heart on my left hand, though! This is my index finger. It’s turned all upside-down, but a heart is a heart.

What’s weird is I really like nude, beige, and tan (and they look good on me), but I don’t like darker brown colors. And orange is just too bright for me. It takes a lot to venture out into colors I wouldn’t normally wear, so when I saw ChocoLotta Love, I knew I had to suck it up and wear it.

This is two coats of Lynnderella ChocoLotta Love over two coats of Cult Nails Power Thief. I could have easily worn CL on its own, but I didn’t want the surface to look or feel lumpy. The glitter is very dense to begin with.

What I love about this is that there are large, bright colored pieces of glitter mixed in with the brown. You can see gold, red, purple, pink, blue, green, teal, and orange. How cool is that?

Another thing I love about ChocoLotta Love is that the brown glitter almost has a glowing effect to them when the light hits them at the right angle. Brown can be a deceiving color when it comes to glitter; you may think it is dull or boring, but this polish certainly is not.

With a coat of Gelous and SV to top it all off, the surface of my nails was pretty smooth. Application was also very easy. I didn’t feel the need to position certain pieces of glitter on either coat.

This is two coats of Lynnderella LavenDear over OPI DS Original. I used this because it was one of the few that matched the color of the glitter very well.

I didn’t expect the glitter to be so dense, but I love the smaller lavender glitter in this one. There’s a beautiful purple shimmer & slight holographic shimmer in the background.

I’m not sure why I’m having so much difficulty layering this collection. I’m trying to branch out from my “layer this over black” mentality and create some more different combinations. I think there are a few holes in my collection that I’d like to fill to assist myself with branching out.

This is three coats of Sweets to the Sweet over…well, nothing! I actually didn’t layer this over a thing.

I know a lot of people use Essie Marshmallow (a la Snow Angel) to layer with since it is white (and a very pretty jelly to boot), but to be honest…I don’t own it! I know I should. I don’t know what’s holding me back. I should just pull the trigger. Same with Revlon Royal. I know I should own it, but I don’t, and I can easily get it.

Aaaaaaanyway.

This is one of the few times where I used Glitter Tamer to smooth things out; however, like the few times before, it shriveled up a bit after I added Poshe. I don’t know if Poshe doesn’t play well, or if I need to thin the hell out my bottle. I really want to use it, and it sounds like it would be amazing, but it is just not working for me! You can also see where some of the glitters are sticking up. I really have to try this under SH Insta-Dri, which some people have had success with. I also would like to allow GT more time to dry (though tbf I already do that…maybe 15 minutes longer, though).

I do love this polish; it looks like a delicate candy wrapper (even with the wrinkles). It’s such a cute spring polish. And yes, when I get Essie Marshmallow, I will wear this over it! I wonder what it will look like over pastels.

Fair warning: I am going to be quoting a LOT of Teen Girl Squad, specifically episode 10 (aka the Tenthennial Extravaganza…in 24 Great-Smelling Color!). I even took screenshots of the comic. Yes. I love it that much. I had so much fun writing this post. I really do hope you enjoy it.

Taking vowels out of words doesn’t always make them cool. I made this exact face when I saw the bottle, though.

This is one coat of BGP over OPI Russian Navy. One coat! Look how much glitter I got onto my nail with just one coat! It’s so glorious!

Surprisingly enough, there is even more to this polish, like bar glitter. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get one on my nail, so you won’t see any here today.

Application is easy, the polish is smooth after a coat of Gelous + SV, and it is so shiny when you are all done. I wanted to save this for last, because it was my favorite in the bottle, but I just couldn’t help. It was calling to me. This is the star of the collection. I have an unnatural soft spot for this one.

Oh why, hello, The Most Wonderful Glitter Ever, you’re looking so makey outy tonight…

I had a lot of trouble taking this off, not because it was difficult to remove, but because after four days it still looked SOOOOO GOOD and I wanted to keep it on. I never wear anything for more than four days! I never wear anything for more than three! Everyone I know can attest to this.

Well, I decided to wear OPI DS Exclusive…this is one of my favorite polishes. Like a lot of the earlier DS holos, it’s easy to apply, not thick or goopy, and dries relatively quickly, even without a quick-dry top coat. This polish is also incredibly difficult to find. I usually want to show polishes that can be obtained by the general public, but I did receive this in one of my first swaps ever and I treasure it with all my heart.

This is fairly picture heavy, so just sit back, relax, and enjoy the pretty!

Goodness. I don’t normally look this pale. I think this is from the lamp.

I wish the lamps in my lightbox showed the prismatic nature of this polish better; when I originally photographed this in my kitchen, the rainbows came out a lot better. I’m trying to figure out how to allow my lamps to do the same. However, I did notice that when I grabbed the lamp & stuck it inside my lightbox, the vibrant color & rainbows looked brighter (as opposed to diffusing the light around the lightbox).

I would tell you where to buy this, but you can’t find this unless you go to eBay…however, I advise against it unless you think a nail polish is worth $90 (which no polish is!). Definitely try to swap/barter for it, or go to a nail salon & hope they have a rogue bottle lying around somewhere. Good luck, & thanks for reading! Have a fantastic weekend!

This is two coats of A Friggin Circus over a-england Camelot. A Friggin Circus contains all sorts of large hex glitter under the sun: blue, silver, green, gold, orange, pink…everything! How cute is that!

I shouldn’t have used such a dark color like black as the base, because the polish has a somewhat bluish tint to the “base.” Maybe purple? I originally layered it over a-england Holy Grail, and I loved the velvet-y look it gave the base, but it was so obvious that a darker color was placed over a lighter color, so I scrapped it.

Not gonna lie…you will have to spend some time brushing the glitters onto your nail. What I did was grab a bunch of glitter with my brush, glop it all onto my nail, and then use the brush to slowly smooth it out. What was nice was that the glitter wasn’t rough, so you won’t be accidentally scratching yourself, but to be safe, I always use a coat of Gelous before SV to smooth things out.
