Hello everyone! I am back from my trip, though I wish I wasn’t. I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. If you want to know what I’ve been doing for the past few days, you can check out my Twitter and see all the pictures I took this past weekend. You know, sometimes I wonder why I just don’t move back to southern California since I miss it so much. I really didn’t appreciate my $73.99 gas bill on Sunday morning, though. (I don’t even drive a large car or anything; my gas tank is just 18 gallons! WHO EVEN MAKES BIG TANKS LIKE THAT?! FOR A 2-DOOR COUPE?! IDGI. Also I imagine reading that and pronouncing coupe like coo-PAY like the guys on Top Gear UK.)
I am so excited to show you this polish from Dollish Polish tonight. It’s called Space, The Final Frontier. Funnily enough, I never watched TNG until I started dating my BF and we discovered all the episodes on Netflix. I didn’t really watch TV or movies as a kid, but as an adult I thoroughly enjoyed the series.
However, this polish gives me a good excuse to link this video from season 4:

An intense deep blue shimmer with rich Teal specks throughout, this color is out of this world!

This is three coats of StFF. Heehee, that abbreviation looks funny. I probably could have just used two, but three didn’t feel too thick so I went with it. I would imagine you could use two with a base color like navy or black. Application was really nice, too. No fuss, no muss. Plus, you know you’ll get enough shimmer with every bite coat.

I keep thinking of Mass Effect when I wear this polish. Maybe it’s because I recently finished the last game in the series and I don’t know what the hell to do now except play through the third game as a Vanguard (my original class that I fell in love with). That is, if I can stop exploring Blackreach in Skyrim. Seriously, have you seen that place? It would probably take me more than three hours to fully explore it.

I remember trying to create a similar polish like this with an old eyeshadow I found. The shimmer was very similar to this, except the shimmer was a bit smaller and more fine. It, of course, did not work out, as I must have added either added too much pigment or did not crush the chunks in the bottle, and it turned out all gritty and uncool. Like I said, I’ll just leave the awesome polish creation up to the experts.

I’ll leave you all with this, from the very same episode as above:
Thanks for reading! <3
Oooh I love this color! HOw do you paint your nails so perfectly? I would do it more if they didn’t look horrible every time I did them :)
