Nerd Lacquer It’s Just A Flesh Wound

Good Monday, everyone. I wanted to let you know about some changes I’ve made on my blog. You might have noticed that the title of my blog has changed. That is because I have finally started to use the name I’ve wanted to use for my blog, Adventures of a Mad Scientist. You might remember this name from a feature I used to do about frankenpolishes I’ve made. I really liked the name and I think it’s pretty indicative of who I am.

Secondly, please change all your bookmarks to www.adventuresofamadscientist.com. If you still use www.ladyflash.net, it will still forward that address to this page since I technically still own the name, but please don’t freak out if the name changes on your URL bar.

Finally, you can also follow new updates if you like my Facebook page, found here. Please click the Like button & spread the word!

Thank you all for your support, and I hope you will continue to read the blog in the future & beyond! <3

This is two coats of It’s Just A Flesh Wound over two coats of a-england Camelot. Did I mention that Camelot is now my favorite black? More favorite than WnW Black Creme? It’s opaque in one coat, is black as night (or #000000, take your pick), & just wears so well!

Anyway, back to this pretty glitter. I love the large bronze & red hexes and how they work very well with the smaller silver, red, & bronze glitter. I love warmer colors like red & bronze over black (even when it comes to what I wear!). I surprisingly don’t have anything like this, not even a glitter layering combo!

My love of this polish comes from my love of the movie Monty Python & The Holy Grail. I remember watching this movie in an English AP class my senior year in high school. Can you believe I got extra credit for coming early to school to watch this? :D

    lol, I loved the #000 reference :p (I’m a noob web-designer).
I don’t get the polish name or reference, but I like it. The bright warm glitters in a black base look like tiny sparks of fire floating in a dark night… like, a bon fire or something :’D

      Oooooh, you’re right! Love it!

And you totally have to watch Monty Python & The Holy Grail…it’s where the name of the polish comes from. It’s one of the few movies I love!
